ADMINISTRATION FELLOWSHIP

Partnering with Envision Healthcare, the Administrative Fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Queens offers a comprehensive, hands-on look at the world of Emergency Medicine administration. Under the leadership of our fellowship director Dr. Johnathon LeBaron, this one-year fellowship gives you the opportunity to learn about healthcare leadership at the local, regional, and national level, while providing the flexibility to gain experience in a community, academic, and tertiary-care hospital. The fellowship is associated with a large ED management group allowing for the opportunity to gain practical experience.

Highlights of the Fellowship:

Full exposure to ED operations and ED leadership

Structured curriculumDedicated mentorship

Monthly meetings with leaders of Envision

Sponsorship and funding to attend national and international conferences in EM administration

One and two year options available with opportunity for MBA

Mentorship to complete an original research project for presentation and publication

Associated with a PGY 1-3 Emergency Medicine residency program with 9 residents per year and is affiliated with the Weill Medical College of Cornell University

Opportunity to work with Emergency Medicine residents, advanced practitioners, and medical students

Appointment as a Clinical Instructor in Emergency Medicine in Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College
